You used to offer online shopping, does it still exist?
The simple answer is , no, online shopping is no longer available. The Sweetest Things has always been an in-store, in-person shopping experience. In recent years, during lockdowns and uncertainty, we built the online business to fill in the gaps. It was amazingly used and supported, and for that we are forever grateful, but The Sweetest Things was never meant to be an online shop. It is a place, bricks and mortar, where people can meet face-to-face, to chat, to escape the bustling noise of the street outside. We want to return to that space, as a family, and get back to what we love best...being a part of our local community, and interacting with that community on a day-to-day basis.
What if I live locally, but I'm unable to visit the shop in person? What can I do?
We understand that there are many reasons why some people are unable to visit us in person, and we will do our best to help, if you'd like to shop with us. We're always happy to help put an order or gift together over the phone or via email. Please visit the Contact Us page to find out how you can get in touch. We can also deliver these orders, if you live in our immediate neighbourhood. A nominal delivery fee may apply.
I have a Digital Gift Card, how can I redeem it?
Although the online shopping function has been disabled, your digital gift card can still be redeemed in the shop. Just print a copy, or show us the code on your phone or mobile device. We can easily apply the amount to an in-person purchase.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept debit and credit, including VISA and Mastercard, as well as cash and The Sweetest Things gift cards, both digital and printed.
